Kyte Announce New 2008 UK Tour Dates 21 February, 2008
Leicester’s Kyte have announced that they will be playing 23 dates across the UK over the next few months. The live shows will see them play with celebrated 20-year old Icelandic indie composer Ólafur Arnalds at London’s Monto Water Rats on the 14 February, as well as a tour in April with the acclaimed Leeds band iLiKETRAiNS, which will include a date at London’s Bush Hall. The live shows will support the release of their stunningly beautiful and ambitious self-titled debut album, released on the 18 February 2008 through KIDS Records. Tipped by the NME and Channel 4 Music as being one of the bands to watch in 2008, NME have recently lauded Kyte as having “massive soundscapes, like Maps fronting My Bloody Valentine”.
